José A. Catalá – Certified artisan, musician, and Bomba instructor with over 40 years of experience. Trained under master José Emmanuelli, he later dedicated himself fully to folklore and cultural education, becoming a respected master in his own right. Today, he promotes Afro-Caribbean traditions through Bomba dance and percussion workshops, sharing knowledge, history, and passion with every group.
Leslie “Yumi” Pouerie – Multidisciplinary artist, educator, and dancer from Santurce, Puerto Rico. With classical training and deep roots in Afro-Caribbean traditions, she blends music, movement, and culture into a powerful and engaging experience. She leads most classes, sharing Bomba and Caribbean rhythms with passion and soul.
Charlotte Serrano Pagán – Professional dancer from Puerto Rico with over 20 years of experience in multiple dance styles. She was also trained under master José Emmanuelli, whose teachings—alongside Catalá—helped shape her knowledge, technique, and deep connection to Puerto Rican folklore.
